Gustav Mahler spent the summer months from 1908 to 1910 at the Trenkerhof in Altschluderbach, where he composed his Ninth Symphony, the unfinished Tenth Symphony and the “Song of the Earth”. The little house in which he composed is a witness to his stay in Toblach/Dobbiaco.
