Cycling in Sölden

This physically demanding long distance mountain bike route leads us from Allgäu over the Fernpass and the Timmelsjoch to South Tyrol. From Lago Molveno to Lake Garda.

This very technical and demanding crossing of the Alps leads us from the Allgäu to Riva del Garda. We will ride some unforgettable trails on the tour but also have to cover some passages on foot.

Gut trainiert und hart im Nehmen sollte sein, wer sich dem Ötztaler Radmarathon stellen will. Er gilt als extrem schwierig, führt aber dafür durch eine einzigartige Berglandschaft im Herz der Alpen.

Die Tour führt durchs Venter Tal, ein romantisches Seitental des Ötztales und lässt sich mit dem Rennrad ausgezeichnet erkunden. Das Bergsteigerdorf Vent, der Hauptort des Tales, gilt als die Wiege des Alpenvereins. Allein der idyllische Weiler Rofen mit den Rofenhöfen, die höchstgelegenen ganzjährig bewirtschafteten Höfe Österreichs auf 2014 m Seehöhe, ist es wert diese leichte bis mittelschwere Tour zu bestreiten.  

The forth and last stage of the Ötztal Cycling Path (52 km) starts in Längenfeld and ends in Sölden. This stage is appx. 15 km long and easy to drive (ascent about 200 meters). Thanks to under- and overpasses on this stage, it's possible to cruise to Sölden off the busy Ötztal federal road.

Lovely tour to Venter Tal valley and Rofenhöfe farms - Austria's highest, permanently settled farmhouses.

The approximately 52 km long bike trail starts in Haiming and ends in Sölden. The route runs through all Ötztal villages and is probably the most varied cycle path the valley has to offer.

A ride of 7 km high above the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN packed with surfing sections, rollers and the rock garden, northshore elements – and a jaw-dropping view.
