With its collections of ancient, modern and contemporary art, the Musée de Grenoble offers you a chance to traverse the history of western painting from the 13th to the 20th centuries. Included are major masterpieces of classical Flemish, Dutch, Italian and Spanish painting; one of 20th century Europe’s richest collections; and all the great post-1945 contemporary art trends, right up to the most recent artworks of the 2000s.

Construit entre 40 et 50 après JC, il épouse la forme de la colline de Pipet à laquelle il est adossé. Ce théâtre est considérée comme l'un des plus importants de l'Antiquité romaine.

Das Château Robert oder Château de Montfort wurde wahrscheinlich schon im 11. Jahrhundert erbaut, gesichert ist seine Existenz aber seit dem 13. Jahrhundert. Das Schloss wurde auf einem natürlichen Felsvorsprung am Fuß der Chartreuse und oberhalb des Ortes Montfort errichtet.
