Culture in Bregaglia Engadin

The Palazzo Castelmur does not date back to the medieval period and, despite its two characteristic towers, it is not a fortress. It is rather a Zuckerbäckerschloss (a castle of a confectioner).

Galleria il Salice has been open since 2012. It is located in the historic part of the village of Castasegna. A village on the border with Italy

A new exhibition space for Bregaglia

The Reformed Church of S. Martino in Bondo is a Protestant Reformed church under the protection of the Canton of Graubünden.

The Centro Giacometti is an information, documentation and cultural centre dedicated to the work of the Giacometti family of artists in Bregaglia.  

The Protestant church of San Giorgio is a simple late-Gothic building with a stained-glass window by Augusto Giacometti.

At the Castelmur ledge, where once the toll was collected, there are the medieval ruins of the fortification wall with a passageway in the center. This wall is called Lan Muraia.
