Informationen zu Gummererhof

The Gummererhof lies high above the Brixen valley basin, nestling amongst chestnut groves and vineyards. In autumn, when the days draw in and get cooler, a lot of 'törggelling' goes on in the farmhouse, which involves finishing off the day with tasty farm fare and a glass of the season's new wine. House ‘Sekt’ (sparkling wine), made from the native ‘Blatterle’ grape, is a special feature of the Gummererhof farm.

Im Gummererhof hoch über dem Brixner Talkessel schmeckt das Essen köstlich!

Speck, ’Kaminwurzen’ (smoked sausage), ’Saure Suppe’ (savoury soup made with bread, milk and spices), buckwheat dumplings, dumplings with Speck, spinach and liver, cheese gnocchi, ’Schlutzer’ (spinach ravioli in butter), ’Erdäpfelblattlen’ (potato pancakes) with cabbage, plate of meat cuts with cabbage, spare ribs, ’Krapfen’ (sweet fried pastries) and chestnuts. Juices: apple, raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant, beetroot.

The 2019 sekt from Blatterle grapes is somewhat closed at first, but then opens up to the air and displays pleasant freshness and a harmonious finish. The 2019 Blatterle displays tempting floral notes in fragrance. The aroma of the 2019 Kerner is very interesting. It is straightforward in the mouth with lively acidity. The 2019 Portugieser has a brilliant red colour and is rather simple both in the nose and in the mouth.
