Informationen zu Hotel Hohe Gaisl

The exterior of the Hohe Gaisl mountain hotel, set in the heart of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park, is already quite fascinating. This historic stone building, set in spectacular breath-taking scenery, has red and white shutters, a traditional roof, beautiful wooden window frames and balconies that make it blend in perfectly with the natural beauty of its surroundings.

The Mairhofer family offers a warm and friendly welcome to their guests. Their passion and commitment to the hotel and to the wellbeing of their guests’ is clear for all to see. Guests are the highest priority in all their hotels (including the partner Asterbel Hotel in Braies) in which visitors will experience the traditional hospitality which is so typical of Alto Adige.

Its unique location is the reason why nature lovers will choose to spend their holidays at the Hohe Gaisl Hotel. In summer the Piazza Prato is the starting point of numerous hikes and mountain bike rides inside this UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, while in winter the longest cross-country skiing route passes by in front of the hotel. Our surroundings also offer splendid routes for those who love alpine skiing and snow shoeing. Starting from our hotel you can explore the stunning natural surroundings of the Alta Val Pusteria.

After a day of outdoor activities our guests will appreciate the wonderful atmosphere of our spacious hotel rooms. Our interiors provide alpine charm and all the comforts you could possibly wish for. Throughout our hotel there is a lovely sense of wellbeing. Our rooms and suites have been decorated in traditional South Tyrolean style and provide the perfect retreat for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views from the balcony.

The wellness oasis is a retreat where you can pamper your body and mind with the healing effects of heat. Besides an indoor pool there are various saunas, sun loungers and a range of therapeutic treatments. Our guests also love our fine gourmet food with delicious delicacies, prepared with high-quality ingredients and served in the evening in the gothic dining room. We guarantee that your stay at the Hohe Gaisl Hotel will be relaxing, pleasant and never dull!

Our guests love the idyllic position and magical charm of the Hohe Gaisl mountain hotel in the Piazza Prato, in the heart of the Dolomites of the Val Pusteria.
