The tour starts in Resia on the west bank of Lake Resia and continues along a cycling path (Seepromenade-lake walk) southbound. The trail passes in front of the San Valentino lake reaching Muta and then continues towards Burgusio. Cross the town centre and cycle below the Monte Maria Abbey and continue towards Clusio and Laudes until you reach the historical town of Glorenza. The cycling path continues south passing the Alder tree wood in Sluderno and reaching Spondigna and then leads right to Prato allo Stelvio. Cycling along the Alder tree wood in Cengles and Oris you will finally reach Lasa, where there is a marble railway line, which is unique from a technical point of view that will lead you to the marble valley of this area, which is famous all over the world. Taking the cycling path that passes next to Silandro you will reach Laces, passing through Morter.
Cycle past the wonderful Castelbello castle and continue towards Naturno. Then on the cycling path that goes along the Adige dam, you will finally reach the arrival point at the Tel defence point.
This bike itinerary can be shortened at will (e.g. by train until Malles and then along the cycling path until Naturno or Rablà).
Along the cycling path there are several service stations and bike rentals.
By train from Val Venosta to Malles and then by bus to Resia (bike-shuttle – look up timetables in advance).
Drive through the Venosta Valley until Resia.
