Eine Urlaubs-Radtour über die Alpen, entlang von schönen Seen und durch sehenswerte italienischen Städte. Der Reisebeginn, entlang des Züricher- und Walensees, bis Chur war ziemlich flach. Es folgte der Aufstieg nach Lenzerheide, oftmals mit ganz schönen Steigungen und anfangs viel Verkehr, der Albulapass, den wir dieses Jahr im dritten Anlauf "knackten" und der Berninapass, der ziemlich leicht zu erklimmen war. Von Tirano bis zum Comer See und ab Lecco bis Villa d'Adda führt ein ruhiger Radweg entlang des Flußes Adda. Sehenswerte Städte wie Bergamo, Verona, Vicenza und Padua im Wechselspiel mit Weinbergen und Obsplantagen prägten den weiteren Verlauf unserer Reise. Zum Tourausklang rollten wir, entlang des Bacchiglione, ziemlich entspannt der Lagune von Venedig entgegen.
