Bike rides in Martell

A tour in a class of its own that offers a lot of variety: At the beginning over forest and meadow paths, then along strawberry plantations and finally around the impressive Zufritt reservoir. If you still haven't had enough, you can park your bike and take the Plima Gorge Trail.

Since most people probably drive to the end of the valley at Martell, this tour is fairly unknown in the central Martell Valley; wrongly so: this tour offers everything that the Martell Valley stands for. You can even discover the life of the mountain farmers in the Culturamartell National Park House.

This tour is ideal for families with smaller children or on days when the weather is not quite stable. The first kilometres to Martell-Dorf are shared with the Stallwiestour. Always in view: the Zufritt reservoir.

This not undemanding tour on partly loose gravel requires some practice. The reward is a cosy alpine pasture with a "guatn Marend". Be sure to try the fresh berries at the "Strawberry World" at the Trattla leisure centre! The Martell Valley is very famous for this little red delicacy!

On this tour you pass pretty mountain villages, the Lahnersäge in the nature park house and farms steeped in history.Almost 11 km of this route run on the state road that leads through the Ulten Valley. On Sundays and public holidays there is often heavy traffic, but it is always an experience. It is quieter on the beautiful, moderately steep forest road that ends at the Hintere Flatschbergalm. The Tuferspitz is a very popular ski mountain in winter. In summer, this 3000-metre peak is relatively easy to climb, but requires a good level of fitness and stamina.
