Bicycle tours in Basel-Stadt

The Rhine Cycle Route, or D-Route 8, runs along the Rhine on German territory from Lake Constance to the Dutch border.

The Danube Cycle Route or D-Route 6 runs from Weil am Rhein along the Rhine and Danube rivers to Passau on the Austrian border.

Dies ist die erste Etappe des Fernradwegs von Basel nach Hoek van Holland. Den Schweizer Teil des Radwegs vom Oberalppass nach Basel absolvierte ich im Sommer 2020 in 4 Tagesetappen.

EuroVelo 6 – Atlantic–Black Sea is one of the most popular EuroVelo routes, and it’s little wonder why. Coasts, rivers, castles, top-class infrastructure and a nice flat topography make this route into every cycle tourists’ dream journey.
