If you are looking for an alternative to the classic hotel and beach holiday, the "Agriturismo" Guthiddai is the place for you. Nestled on the slopes of Monte Corrasi and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, this farm is located not far from the village of Oliena in the heart of Sardinia. The agritourism, run with passion by the very friendly Floris family, is the perfect place to relax and at the same time the ideal starting point for hikers and culture lovers. Here you have the chance to get to know Sardinia from a completely new perspective. Although the crystal blue sea and the beautiful beaches are only 17 kilometres away, the accommodation is ideal for hikers, climbers and trekkers. The Supramonte Mountains, the limestone massif of Monte Corrasi and the Golfo di Orosei National Park offer a wide range of tours. There are also plenty of opportunities to get to know the country and its people! You can take a trip in an off-road vehicle or have lunch with shepherds in their huts. Also a canoe trip on the river Cedrino should not be missed!
When you return to Guthiddai after an eventful day, you'll find not only well kept, comfortable rooms overlooking Supramonte, where you can relax, but also excellent Sardinian cuisine. This is mainly based on ingredients from our own or regional production and amazes with its traditional recipes.
The rustic, flower-decorated inner courtyard with its many benches and the large garden will invite you to relax.

Warm hospitality

The ten rooms, each with its own bathroom with shower, WC, bidet and washbasin, are furnished in a simple way – but without a doubt they have charm and character. Eight of them are located on the ground floor and lead to a cosy terrace, which invites you to linger especially in the evening.

Enjoy the scent of olive trees and myrtle bushes while staying on the private terrace.

Sardinian delicacies

The restaurant of Guthiddai Agrotourism attaches great importance to using mainly products from their farm in their kitchen. The animal and vegetable products are used to create authentic, tasty dishes. Olives, pecorino cheese and sausage specialities, accompanied by the famous "pane carasau" – a thin, crispy flat bread – are traditionally served as antipasti. They are followed by homemade pasta, stuffed ravioli, "maccarrones de busa", special Sardinian pasta, or "maccarones de bocciu", a kind of gnocchi. Pane frattau" is also a typical local speciality – "Pane carasau" is dipped in water and then alternately layered with tomato sauce, pecorino cheese and a poached egg. The main course is mainly meat: in addition to roast suckling pig, lamb, goat, veal or wild boar, there is "pecora in cappotto" – a stew of sheep with potatoes and vegetables, the Sardinian speciality par excellence. All the dishes are prepared with homemade olive oil. The Sevadas, fried dumplings, or the "s'aranciada", made from finely chopped orange peels, honey and almonds, are just two of the delicious desserts that will round off your culinary journey through Sardinian flavours. Don't miss out on the Cannonau, a home-made dessert.
