Forcella Piccola e Bergner Kreuz

Si parte da Buchwald e si sale prima alla malga Pfaunboden (dove si trova una fontanella) e poi si raggiunge la parte più difficile della salita con l'ingresso nella valletta finale. Si sale a zig-zag fino ad una scala (da usare solo se attrezzati) oppure un passaggio alternativo in una stretta gola. Dopo questo punto con una ultima rampa si raggiunge la forcella e poi, in breve, la cima del Bergner Kreuz (con un bel panorama su Bolzano). Si ritorna per un sentiero non segnato fino al sentiero che scenda al Buchwald dalla baita del Principe.

One starts from Buchwald and climbs first to the Pfaunboden house (where there it is a fountain) and then reaching the most difficult part of the climb with the entry into the final valley. You climb in a zig-zag up to a ladder (to use only if equipped) or an alternative passage in a narrow gorge. After this point with a last ramp you reach the "forcella piccola" and then, briefly, the top of the Bergner Kreuz (with a beautiful panorama on Bolzano). One return through an unmarked path up to the trail that descends to the Buchwald from the Prince's hut.
